One of my best friends – John Broderson a.k.a. Johnny B – died this week.
He was Small Biz Triage’s first hire. Copywriting, video production, canvassing, event marketing, etc… Johnny could do f-ing anything. Hell, I didn’t even know what a copywriter was until he bluntly explained it to me – “we spend six hours to write one line.”
Some of our clients favorite promotions, most successful ad campaigns and funniest videos were birthed from his stubbornly awesome creativity.
Wounds are still fresh, so I’ll end my short memoriam curtly.
Johnny B, I miss you bro.
I’m in shock. Johnny and I worked in the restaurant biz together about 15 years ago and had some crazy times together outside of work. He and could live large. I just looked him up on Facebook as I have been out of touch for some time. Then I came across this. Very sorry for our loss.
